A brief institutional profile

Makko Billi School is a private School founded in July 2009 in Adama /Nazareth town; 90 Kms away to South East from Addis Ababa, the Capital City of Ethiopia. We are giving the best and convinient service in our main compus at Genda Haara area and MBS branch #2 near kebele 11 Administration office.

Its luxurious (20000 m2) compound, e-library, interactive classroom demonstrations and dynamic website with database support are some of the unique features.  We have classes from pre-school kindergarten to grade 12. Our enrollment capacity is now over 2000 students in 56 classrooms and two libraries and five laboratories.  The classroom size is 25 for KGs and 35 for grade classrooms. We have over 100 well experienced academic and 40 support staff.  Our school dynamic website www.makkobillischool.com and telephone SMS based resource center will give the students, parents and the school administration the chance to enter, exchange or access data and information from anywhere 24-7.

 Restrict the number of students-classroom size to less than 35.

 Create clean, attractive, secured and conducive school compound.

 Allow major stakeholders to participate in the school management.

 Employ Certified teachers for kindergarten classes

 Provide continues on job training for its academic and supportive staff to ensure customer satisfaction and proper child care.

Location of the Project Site

This project is located in Adama. It is 90 km from Addis Ababa-the capital city of Ethiopia. Adama also called Nazareth is one of the second largest cities in Ethiopia. The city enjoys all kinds of infrastructures that favor investments. Unlike other cities in Ethiopia, Adama is geographically connected with many Regional States of the Federal Government with modern roads .The favorable geographical location together with well-developed transport network has given economic stimulus to the city which is not possible in other cities of the country. The specific site of the project is Higher/Woreda 1 – Keble 01 H. No. 1561 bordering to St. Trinity Cathedral.
